Individuals who successfully complete an accredited NYS Mold training program are eligible to receive a NYS certificate proving their training.
Mold Assessor
This course is intended for those who will perform mold assessment work, write mold remediation plans, and/or perform post-remediation assessment work.

Mold Remediation Contractor
This course is intended for those will perform mold remediation, write and/or approve mold remediation work plans, and also supervise mold abatement workers.
- Mold Remediation Contractor Initial Course — $500
Mold Abatement Worker
This course is intended for those who will perform an type of mold abatement work in any capacity.
- Mold Abatement Worker Initial Course — $315
Mold Refresher
Only those with current NYS mold certificates are eligible to participate in a mold refresher course and subsequently obtain a new NYS mold license. The refresher course curriculum and required number of hours is the same for all mold license types: Assessor, Remediation Contractor/Abatement Supervisor, and Abatement Worker.
